Originally written for the first concert of an elementary school beginning band, this march is playable with a very limited repertoire of notes.  Still, it contains some of the standard features of a traditional march, with a brief transition to a new key (although few instruments actually need the “different “ note).  Every wind instrument spends some time with a melody, and the upper woodwinds explore some easy trills.
